Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and enjoy a private AC transfer to Kandy (2 hrs 50 mins / 115 km). En route, visit the famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage (entry at own expense). Check in at your hotel in Kandy, unwind, and enjoy dinner. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Kandy is the cultural heart of Sri Lanka, surrounded by lush mountains, sacred temples, and serene lakes.
After breakfast, explore Kandy’s highlights including the Botanical Garden, Gem Museum, Batik Factory, Wood Carving Center, and Kandy View Point. Visit the Spice Garden and enjoy an optional herbal massage. En route to Nuwara Eliya (2 hrs 40 mins / 76 km), stop at a Tea Plantation & Factory and Ramboda Waterfall.
